Annual Blanket Drive June 2017
On Youth Day, June 16 2017 Paramount Tracks partnered with the Bokang Mosia Foundation to sponsor blankets, food supplies and meals to Fountain of Love Orphanage which is located in Katlehong, Germiston.
Fountain of Love Orphanage was founded in 2004 by Roseline Mthembu, when a little boy was left on her door step. Since then the organisation grown to care for 45 children ranging from 12 months to 19 year olds. Some of the children have been diagnosed with Tuberculosis and HIV and require continuous medical treatment.
Fountain of Love Orphanage receives foster care grants from the Government for only 6 of the children and relies heavily on the communities generosity and other sponsors. Despite these challenges, Fountain of Love Orphanage still manages to maintain a soup kitchen and provide meals to the elderly, the disabled and vulnerable children in the community.
Paramount Tracks is committed to caring for and developing the communities in which it operates.
It is important for Paramount Tracks as an establishment, to give back to the community and remains invested in projects like these.
